Hello sweets! Yes you absolutely can, especially if you want to go lighter! Sometimes it is nice to alternate between full highlight and a partial highlight every 6 weeks (helps use less lightener on hair and also helps to save money as well). However, it is totally a matter of personal preference, especially if your end goal is to be lighter! Usually it is recommended to do a highlight every 6 weeks so that enough growth is at the root. You would absolutely be ready to get another full highlight by December! ❤

Hi love! Yes, you can always go back after three months or so and get a shadow root touchup, which will basically just re-tone the top of your hair! It will help to get rid of any brassiness in between your 6 month highlight sessions! A shadow root touchup is usually just a toner applied to the root, and it can bring your hair back to life if you feel it is looking a bit dull. That is a great option. It’ll re-blend and give a nice refresh.🤍😘 Hope this helps!

@@thegirlnextdoord I also forgot to ask when you get a shadow root touchup and they re-tone the top of your hair do they also cover/bleach your regrowth that has grown out so your shadow root wouldn't cover more of your head? will I be able to keep the same length that my shadow root is when I first got it done? I have been wondering this and have searched it up and tried to find the answer but I cant find it anywhere. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me if you know. Hi Paige! Since you have short hair with shaving on the sides, I would suggest Tape Ins rather than Itips ☺️ With tape ins, it’s easier to get more coverage with less extensions! And in my opinion would feel more comfortable as well!

Hi Julia! Go to around 2:10 in my video, you can see it me using it there! You feed the bead onto the tool and push it to the base. Then at the top, you pull a small sectioned out piece of hair through the loop while sliding the bead over the hair. You then insert the extension into the bead as well.

Yes, you can absolutely do this! I have done it before with fun colors like pink, red, and green! I think this is the best method for that.

If your roots are darker than mine and your blonde is as light as mine, I might suggest only pulling the color down past your root, making sure your blonde is wet- for about five minutes to blend, just to be extra careful 🤍

I left my roots dark and rooted, so the color did not affect my root area…but if you wanted to lighten your roots you can absolutely use it on your roots as well! It’ll tone it beautifully 🤍

Hello! It would depend on how badly damaged it is, my best suggestion would be to make an appointment for a consultation only with a knowledgeable hairstylist who does the Keratin and have them assess your hair. They’ll look at the state of your hair and determine if you can have the treatment. Hope this helps!

Hi love! Lol happy to help! And congratulations on becoming a mommy! 💕 So I use the same extensions multiple times, but every 3 months we have to remove the extensions and reinstall them. Once they are grown out to about an inch and a half regrown, we open up the metal bead and remove the extension. Then after a good wash and possibly coloring hair, we reinstall them 😉 You can reuse the hair many times- but you need to use new beads because they are usually damaged after removal!

No you don’t have an orange root bc. Shades EQ don’t lift

Hello! With a level 9 and above toner, I do not have any issues with fading to orange. However, on anything lower than that- especially a level 6 and below, I definitely do. It’s very frustrating and I tend to avoid using Demi’s unless absolutely necessary. And forget about trying to lift out shades EQ- it’s nearly impossible!! Even on a level 6.

@@tinamuller3049 That's what everyone says but it does lift my hair. If you look at Elle Bangs on utube she also uses Redken Toners and you can see her roots fade to orange as well. Ive used Guy Tang demi as well and that's only a 6 vol developer (lower than shades) that lifts my hair too.

I have to make my own toners by buying a semi perm in a light brown ash and mixing it with conditioner to put on my yellows. Works great and doesn't lift my natural base but only lasts 2 shampoos :)

Thank you for your kind words Victoria! 😍 I usually do a quick lather with a small amount, and rinse it Slightly (it should still be soapy). This will get rid of anything sitting on the cuticle so it absorbs well. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and rinse! 2-3 times a week should be plenty! 💕 If you feel it’s still not the color you wish, you may have to lighten it a touch more and that’ll do the trick 🤗
